Mackenzie was born and raised in Jackson, MS. She received her undergraduate education from The
University of Southern Mississippi and a Master of Science in Medicine from Mississippi College
Physician Assistant Program. She is board\u00a0certified by the\u00a0National Commission for Certification of
Physician Assistants.\u00a0She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and Mississippi
Academy for Physician Assistants, where she serves as Treasurer-Elect. Mackenzie enjoys reading,
playing tennis and traveling in her\u00a0free time. She is an active member in the Junior League of Jackson
